Hearing Dates: 25th January - 3rd February 

Dear Residents

We just wanted to update you that the dates for the appeal hearing to the proposed retirement village, on the land at the rear of 163 to 187 High Street Bottisham have been issued along with appeal documentation.  

The appeal case, due to Covid-19 restrictions, will be held virtually. 

The dates for the appeal are starting Tuesday 25th January - Thursday 3rd February inclusive.

As you are aware the original planning application was refused by East Cambs District Council (ECDC), and was again refused on a subsequent appeal. Both ECDC and Bottisham Parish Council and the Bottisham Medical Practice maintained their position in strongly opposing this development on the Green Belt and have submitted documentation to support this opposition.  Many residents have supported this with adding their reasons for objecting and we, along with the Medical Practice, would like to thank you for your support and commitment to helping maintaining our village with Green Belt land.
