Cambridge Mobile libraries help more people to use Cambridgeshire Libraries' services. Mobile libraries can be a lifeline for people who can't get to a static library. Each vehicle carries up to 3,000 items of stock. This includes fiction, non fiction, large print, books on CD and cassette, and children's books. It’s a great place for catching up with friends and colleagues whilst supporting a local community resource. They have 3 mobile library vans which stop at 388 locations in 98 villages and communities.

They visit Bottisham, Downing Close once a month and normally the 4th Thursday in the month between 4:30pm - 5pm.

The Community Library provides a public library service and is a joint use facility with Bottisham Village College. This enables the public to access College stock and vice versa. It is supported by Cambridgeshire Library Service and is run entirely by volunteers. There is an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction books catering for all age ranges as well as a large stock of jigsaws to borrow. The Library is designated as a warm hub and has a public access computer and photocopying facilities as well as local information leaflets.
